Taramesa - Äthiopien

Light-roasted organic coffee from the Sidamo/Yirgacheffe border region in Ethiopia. Direct Trade. Flavor notes: Cocoa, vanilla, blueberries, dried mango We import this very aromatic, dried (natural) coffee directly from the Taramesa cooperative in the Sidama region of Ethiopia. The farmers receive US$ 10.85 per kilo of coffee. In the "natural/dry" process, the coffee beans are not washed but sun-dried. This means that there is always some coffee cherry juice left in the beans, which makes it very interesting. Taramesa has a mild, fruity acidity and is highly recommended as a long coffee (Americano), with milk/vegetable drink or as a fresh filter coffee or fruity espresso - a real gem! Funky. Ready to drink 10 days after roasting date.

Fondo Paez - Kolumbien

A top-quality coffee from Cauca, the southwest of Colombia. Direct Trade. Aromas: Reminiscent of cherry blossom, orange, brown sugar, grape. This coffee is cultivated in an exclusively indigenous cooperative. This cooperative is located in Cauca, one of the country's famous coffee regions. The Paez, who also call themselves Nasa or "the people", are the largest indigenous coffee-growing group in Colombia. Fondo Paez was founded with the aim of reviving and preserving indigenous culture and traditional agricultural knowledge after many years of oppression. The farmers receive per kilo of coffee: US$ 11.10 Light roast, very balanced, fruity and yet sweet. Also works wonderfully in a mocha pot (Bialetti) - but we mainly drink the Fondo Paez as a filter or as espresso on the portafilter machine. Ready to drink 10 days after roasting date.
