3. Conclusion of contract

The display of products on our website does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. The contract is concluded upon payment confirmation by our payment provider Stripe. The customer receives an order confirmation by email.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) and include statutory VAT. Shipping costs are included in the price. Payment is processed via Stripe (credit card, Apple Pay, Link, or other available payment methods). The amount is charged upon order completion.

5. Delivery

Delivery is made by post to the address provided by the customer in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Liechtenstein. Roasteries generally ship orders within 2 to 5 business days after receipt of the order. Röstpost is a marketplace platform; shipping is handled directly by the respective roastery.

6. Subscriptions

Röstpost offers various subscription models (weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks). Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled by the customer. The customer can pause or cancel their subscription at any time via their account at roestpost.ch/konto/abos. Cancellation takes effect at the next billing period. Deliveries already paid for will still be fulfilled.

7. Gift subscriptions

Gift subscriptions are paid in advance and run for the selected duration (3, 6 or 12 months). They do not renew automatically and end after the last delivery. The gift code can be redeemed by the recipient at roestpost.ch/geschenk-einloesen. Cash redemption of the voucher value is excluded.

8. Right of withdrawal

As coffee is a perishable food product, the right of withdrawal under Swiss law (CO Art. 40a ff.) is excluded for goods already shipped. In case of quality issues or incorrect delivery, please contact us immediately at mahlzeit@roestpost.ch. We will find a solution together.

9. Marketplace and intermediation

Röstpost acts as an intermediary platform between customers and independent Swiss roasteries. The roasteries are responsible for the quality of their products, correct preparation, and timely shipping. Röstpost handles payment processing and forwards the corresponding share to the roastery.

10. Liability

Röstpost is not liable for damage caused by improper storage of coffee after delivery. Liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. Liability is in any case limited to the order value.

11. Data protection

The processing of personal data is governed by our privacy policy, available at roestpost.ch/en/datenschutz.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich, Switzerland. Mandatory statutory provisions for consumer protection remain reserved.

13. Changes to terms

Röstpost reserves the right to amend these terms at any time. The current version is available on this page. In case of significant changes, existing subscribers will be notified by email.
